For 20 years, Wine and Drinks Academy has been part of the Willamette Valley wine community, helping wine enthusiasts and industry professionals develop their knowledge through WSET education. We know this region, we know wine, and we understand what it takes to make wine education both meaningful and enjoyable.
Our WSET courses combine experienced educators, thoughtful instruction, guided tasting, and a welcoming classroom environment. We keep the learning practical and engaging, with plenty of opportunities to taste, ask questions, and connect with others in the wine community. Whether you’re beginning with WSET Level 1 or pursuing advanced wine certification, you’ll get a strong educational foundation and an experience built around the way people actually learn.

Your WSET course fee covers course materials, exam fees, and your WSET certificate.
For our in-person WSET courses in the Willamette Valley, all wine tasting fees are included. If you’re studying online, we’ll provide guidance on the wines to taste as you work through the course. Wine is not included with online courses.

There’s no single right place to begin. We offer WSET wine courses from Level 1 through the WSET Diploma, and you can enter at Level 1, 2, or 3 based on your wine experience and background. To move on to the WSET Level 4 Diploma, you’ll need to successfully complete Level 3 in Wine.
WSET Level 1
New to wine education? Level 1 is a great place to start, giving you the essential knowledge and vocabulary to understand what’s in your glass.WSET Level 2
Already have some experience with wine, whether from working in the Willamette Valley wine industry or simply spending time exploring wine? Level 2 gives you a broader and more structured foundation.WSET Level 3
Have a strong foundation and want to go deeper? Level 3 takes a more detailed look at the factors that influence wine style, quality, and value and requires a meaningful commitment to study and tasting. -
WSET is one of the most recognized names in wine education, offering a structured and practical way to understand wine that is taught and respected around the world. You’ll combine wine theory with guided tasting and develop a shared framework for understanding grape varieties, regions, wine styles, quality, and the factors that shape what’s in the glass.
That foundation can be especially valuable in the Willamette Valley, whether you work in a winery or tasting room, restaurant, wine shop, or another part of the wine industry. WSET training gives you a common language for talking about wine and a deeper understanding of the decisions and influences behind it. It’s a practical way to build your knowledge, develop professionally, and connect your local wine experience with a broader understanding of the world of wine.
