Exam REgistration
Level 1 and Level 2 exams are taken online from home. Level 3 and Level 4 exams are taken in-person.
Before registering for an exam, note the registration deadline, rescheduling deadline and fees, technology requirements for online exams, and location of in-person exams.
Students must register for and complete the corresponding WSET Course before registering for an exam.

Online exams are offered the first Sunday of every month at noon (12pm) Pacific Time.
Private exams (also always at noon) can be ordered for an additional fee.

All online exams and Level 3 in-person exams must be ordered at least 15 days in advanced using the registration buttons below.
If you’re registering for WSET Diploma exams, connect with your Diploma manager for registration deadlines for each unit.

Fewer than 15 days before an exam: Your exam order is already processed and cannot be canceled. If you miss your scheduled exam, WSET will assess a repeat exam fee when your 2nd order is placed.
More than 15 days before an exam: There is a $35 administrative fee to change an existing exam order.

The WSET Online exams are proctored exams that are video monitored and that must meet testing condition requirements.

The WSET Essential Remote Invigilation Guidance will ensure that you understand the exam set up guidelines. Note that if an exam is invalidated because a student did not follow these guidelines, WSET will charge students for their second exam attempt. Yes, exams must be taken within one year of your course completion date.
Exam Registration Level 1
If you are registering for a Level 1 exam for the first time, your exam fee is included in your tuition ($0). If you are registering for a second exam, you must select the retake option ($192).
Exam Registration Level 2
If you are registering for a Level 2 online exam for the first time, your exam fee is included in your tuition ($0). If you are registering for an exam for the second time, please select the re-order option ($260).
Exam Registration Level 3
If you are registering for a Level 3 exam for the first time, your exam fees are included in your tuition. If you’re registering for a Level 3 exam for a second time, please use the repeat order option. Note that all Level 3 exams are offered in-person.
Exam Registration Level 4
All Level 4 Diploma Exams are offered in Portland, OR. Exam dates and times are set globally by WSET.
