  • For 20 years, Wine and Drinks Academy has been helping students across the Pacific Northwest learn about wine. Our Seattle WSET courses bring together experienced educators, structured study, guided tasting, and plenty of conversation—creating a classroom that’s serious about wine education without taking itself too seriously.

    Our instructors bring deep knowledge of wine and real-world industry experience to the classroom, while our approach keeps students engaged and involved. Whether you’re starting with WSET Level 1, building professional expertise through Level 2 or 3, or working toward the WSET Diploma, you’ll be part of a welcoming community of wine students and professionals from Seattle and throughout the region.

  • Your WSET wine course includes all required course materials, exam fees, and certificate fees.

    For in-person courses in Seattle, all tasting fees are included. If you’re studying online, wine tasting is recommended as part of your preparation, and we’ll provide guidance on selecting the wines to taste. Wine samples are not included with online courses.

  • Wine and Drinks Academy offers WSET wine courses in Seattle at Levels 1, 2, and 3.

    You can start at Level 1, 2, or 3 based on your experience and existing wine knowledge—you don’t have to begin at Level 1.

    WSET Level 1 — A great starting point if you’re new to wine or want to build a strong foundation.

    WSET Level 2 — For students with some wine experience who are ready for more structured and in-depth study.

    WSET Level 3 — For students with a solid wine foundation who are ready for advanced study and a deeper understanding of wine style, quality, and value.
