Throughout the duration of your course, you will learn on your schedule, logging in anytime and working through the course at your convenience.
Learning is supported by an online instructor for the duration of the 4 week course. And after that time, you will continue to have access to the course static content for one year.

As a WSET Level 1 in beer student, you will gain a strong foundation in beer and develop an understanding of how ingredients, brewing, service, and pairing, all impact the resulting beer.

Yes. It is recommended that you acquire beer samples to taste and support your learning as you work through this course.
At the start of your course, your instructor will provide a list of recommended beer styles to correspond with your learning.

The online certification exam is taken after the completion of your course and must be ordered in advance.
The WSET Level 1 in Beer Online Exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions answered under exam conditions and within the 45-minute exam period.
Students who score 70% or higher will be WSET Level 1 in Beer Certified.
