The WSET Level 2 in Spirits Online Course is organized into 6 learning modules studied over 5-weeks. Topics include:
Intro to spirits
Whisk(e)y and Fruit spirits
Sugar cane spirits
Vodka, flavored spirits, and aromatized wines
Cocktails
Exam review
Learning is interactive and self-paced. Login anytime and work through the content at your own pace. Throughout your 5-week course, learning is guided by your online instructor who supports you through your course assignments, knowledge checks, and tasting exercises.
At the conclusion of the online course, you will continue to have access to course content for one year.

Included with your tuition is the Looking Behind the Label course book, study guide, and Systematic Approach to Tasting Card — each of which are shipped to you at registration.

In the WSET Level 2 in Spirits Online Course, you will learn how choices in raw materials, distillation, and maturation impact the final spirit’s style and quality.
Using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting, you will also train your palate to describe aromas and structure with precision, and learn to professionally compare styles.

The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions answers within one hour and taken online under exam conditions.
Exams are offered on the 1st Sunday of every month (or by appointment) and must be ordered at least 2 weeks in advance. A link for exam sign-up is provided at registration.
Students who score 55% or higher achieve a Pass, 70% to 84% a Pass with Merit, and 85% or higher a Pass with Distinction.
