This intermediate level course is ideal for students ready to dive beyond the basics into the nuances of French wine. Completion of WSET Level 2 in Wine, a similar knowledge level, and/or a willingness to study before class is recommended.

Of course! All learning is underscored by instructor-led tasting of iconic French wines.

In addition to in-person class sessions and tastings, your tuition includes your French Wine Essentials textbook; interactive, online learning resources; and an optional certification exam offered at the end of the course.

The certification exam is comprised of 50-multiple choice questions and is taken at then of day 2 of your course. The exam is optional and approximately 50% of students elect to take the exam. If you plan to test, you must register a month in advance so you can receive your textbook and online access with sufficient time to study and prepare.
